Jillian Weller

Jillian Weller has been performing since a very young age. At the age of 7 is when she started taking vocal/dance lessons. She performed in many recitals and numerous musicals in the state of Oklahoma and recorded her first cd. By the age of 8 she was in a 4 girl performing group. The group traveled all over Oklahoma and the surrounding states, doing well over a 100 shows a year. They also cut their own album and were featured many times on a “Tulsa’s Best” CD. They recorded an original song as well. Additionally the group did a number of local television appearances/performances.

When Jillian was a senior in high school, she started working on her solo career, performing at a variety of venues in Oklahoma. She started playing the guitar and she cut her own album. The summer after her senior year, she competed in USA World Showcase were she won 1st place in Pop/Rock Music, which was aired on national television. She also competed in Nashville Star Search where she got the opportunity to perform at the Gaylord Center in Nashville TN. She received 1st place in Country Music, and 2 songs from her demo were put on the Nashville Star Search cd which is available at cdbaby.com.

Since she has been in college she has performed in several fraternity/sorority shows and has also been a director for several of the shows. The summer of ’07, she was a top finalist in Gimme the Mike where she competed at the Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She also sang the National Anthem for the PBR Built Ford Tough Series ’07.

This year she has been performing all over Oklahoma and competing in many competitions in Oklahoma and even some in Kansas and Missouri. She sang the National Anthem for the Tulsa Talons arena football game and won first place in the “Best in Country Music” competition held in Claremore, OK, where she sang an original song. Jillian has written several songs and is in the process of getting many of them recorded. She has done several interviews with a local Stillwater, OK radio station and they also play her original song on the radio. Right now she takes every opportunity she can to perform and get out in the community.

Jillian has an amazing support group from her family and friends; she is completely driven and won’t stop until she has reached her dreams. You will be seeing a lot of her!
