The Bad Seed aka Niggalis Cage

The Bad Seed was born Corey Pierson on February 6, 1975 in Brooklyn, NY. Although surrounded by music for the majority of his life, he was more interested in the streets. Finally, fed up with the hustle and bustle of the streets, he opted to try his hand at music.

His grind led him to signing with Warner Bros. in 2001, but due to staff changes and the Black Music dept. closing, Seed was left without a label and without a team aswell. "I feel like everyone abandoned me after the deal." Seed states. "It wasn't even my fault why I lost it. Everybody just had thier own agenda."

Going for self wasn't exactly a bad idea, since by then he had already recorded songs with artists such as Usher, Janet Jackson, Cassidy, Mos Def, and Talib Kweli to name a few. He was also also the appointed rhyme spitter for Miri Ben Ari (The hip-hop violinist) last year when she opened for Busta Rhymes on Busta's 30 city tour.

Now with an already independent album entitled "Dirty Urine" in stores, things looked like he will finally be heard. "I'm leary about major labels. There's some interest here and there, but the situation gotta be right." Seed says "I know my worth, and I know that as soon as I get the right situation, It's definitely gonna be a problem"
